As we move ahead into this postindustrial society individuals will have to confront F.E.W or S.T.P! These acronyms will be how individuals will be sized up and it behooves you to understand yourself so you will understand what side of the table you are currently sitting on. Now let’s translate what they mean:
F.E.W - fears/emotions/worries
S.T.P - strategies/tactics/pathways
Here is why this will be defining and crucial, they show how you view the world! You are a F.E.W if you are always being led by worries, fears that lead to emotional decision making. Last I checked fears, worries and emotions do not mean these things exist beyond how your mind views the world. F.E.W will always have the individual being led by what are called ‘‘negative fueled thoughts’’ that can define the environment that the individual is in. Let’s define F.E.W one by one:
Fear - an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain or threat.
Emotion - a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. 2) instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge. 3) Conscious mental reaction (such as anger or fear) subjectively experienced as strong feeling usually directed towards a specific object and typically accompanied by psychological and behavioral changes in the body: state of feeling
Worry - Give way to give away to anxiety or unease; allow one’s mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles. 2) A state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems. 3) To afflict with mental distress or agitation.
Now let’s jump to S.T.P and define one by one:
Strategy - A plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim especially over a long period.
Tactic - An action carefully planned to achieve a specific end. 2) science of planning the arrangement and use of military forces and equipment in war.
Pathway - 1) A way that constitutes or serves as a path. 2) A way of achieving a specified result; a course of action.
Now we can take a deep dive. Now ask yourself where do you fit in? How does your mind function? Let’s pause and reflect! In our over stimulated society, I would say many more are in the F.E.W category because now we are living in such a reactive state. Unless you shut down the stimuli then we are destined to be a F.E.W. F.E.W is quite and unhealthy place to be in our society of information overload that fuels F.E.W.
It is time to pause and slowdown in order to shift to S.T.P! We must cross over to S.T.P land in order to have your future be where you wish it to be not where you are being guided by the F.E.W. S.T.P allows clarity and discernment so the individual can utilize their full potential by using their own sphere of influence which is your mind. #Thinkforyourself.
S.T.P allows clear decisions while F.E.W allows cloudy decisions. If the individual lives in the cloudy decision zone their life would be expected to be
quite cloudy which will lead to a cloudy undistinguished lifestyle following the F.E.W. Our life is based on the decisions we make because those are the one thing, we can have overbearing influence over. Stay in S.T.P land as much as possible. Now what will your mind allow you to do.
