What’s wrong with cheap cotton?

JK

Great analog, digital quote!

Nothing is wrong with cheap cotton.... I am just explaining a historical truth which gets glossed over when most folks speak. Cheers on the quote.

I think that without slavery development of agriculture at scale in the south would be slower, but that in the long-run, no enslavement of a work force would have smoothed out a lot of things and made them better - just as successful -not poorer – no Civil War, for example. The greatness of the Magna Carta and the United States Constitution underpinned the success of these nations, not the evil blight of our mistakes. The success of the northern states proved that.

definitely scale in the south does not happen.
