A real threat indeed: imitation of the automatons in order to transact business, maintain biological life. It would be like trying to express yourself by choosing short answer multiple choice options, none of which are correct. If we actually reach an age of AI Bottism, then I expect a parallel socio-economic system of those biological humans living under the radar that chooses its own measures of value and production for the survival of consciousness. For a simplistic hint, look at how pet dogs are supported by people but their social relationships with other dogs take precedence when out in the park.
In my mind, I’m hearing this robotic voice referring to a person disdainfully as “HU-man.” Can’t place it though probably maybe Star Trek I don’t know.
