Dumb down is the symptom
Hi everyone,
I bumped another column for this one at the last minute today on 5/25/24. So much in society at this moment is misdirected! Divergent obfuscation is the underwritten and underhanded policy. You may have heard about the ‘dumbing down of America….. I am introducing the concept of the ‘numbing down’ of America! Many will say what does this mean? What is the message Then? The quote unquote dumbing down in my vision is about the numbing down of America!
Let’s get to the etymology and definitions. Let’s go to numb first:
Deprived of motion or feeling, powerless to feel or act. Literally taken, seized. From the past participle of niman to take, seize. From old English niman to take, catch, grasp.
Please pause and deliberate of what you maybe seeing in public. Now let’s look at dumb:
Old English, persons, mute silent, refraining from speaking or unable to speak. From proto - Germanic - dumbaz dumb, dull confusion, stupefaction, dizziness from root dheu - dust, mist vapor, smoke also expressing related notions of defection or wits.
Now that we have clarity, I will get to the meat of what is being postulated. I believe that society is now at intellectual and mental impasse! The generations born with the smart phone aka the D3 (D.D.D) aka dumb down device will be taking over society in the next decade! If we as a society do not stress the need to no be comfortably numb then we will reach the levels of the movie Idiocracy over time. The life of #ConvenientNumbness. I bring this up in my 2025 publication the New American Dream!
The social contract of the old (industrial age) and now we are moving expeditiously into what I am labeling D.I.C. Now you say what is that….. It means Digital Industrial Contract. This contract is without many benefits for the individuals. The digital industrial contract is about the user not the customer ideological framework. An essential of this digital contract has been to take out civics and phonetics in what was the education system so we can develop as Bots and Cogs for the updated system that the Digerati needs! The Digerati along with The Pharmacati needs a massive drone like social society. This society has military orientation! In the military you just follow orders even if you disagree or know in your heart it is a bad move!
We just experienced this in the active part of the Covid apparatus 2020-2023. The Digerati doesn’t need thinkers it needs massive amount of users. As of this writing the picture is forming quite clear. I like to use sports metaphors so barring any unforeseen societal epiphanies it is ‘game set match’.
Two events I must mention that maybe opens up some folks and puts their antennas in the upward position. Open A.I was changed with hijacking Scarlett Johannsen voice and licensing material from News Corporation. Finally these people are at least paying!!
Now riddle me this…. If the A.I is so smart …… so intelligent….. so superior then why is the so called superior A.I is after this human fueled media? Is that superiority or are we just being fed to the wolves without our knowledge? It is imperative we ask those questions! I myself applauded Scarlett Jo for the apparent hijacking her voice! She is fighting for her human rights! She is fighting for her human I.P!
