How long before the technoporn is no longer satisfying and people return or choose to be human and engage with the world as humans have done? I suspect it is already too late for many people. They mistake the power of AI for their own power, all the while impoverishing their humanity.

Brilliant. It realy makes you think about how sci-fi shapes our future, not just reflects it. How do you see the AI advancements today plays into these Asimovian themes?

Thank you for engaging with the column. The job of this periodical is to get people pause and think. I will respond to your question tomorrow. I need to give it proper thought. Thank you for the kind sentiment and engagement

I do not see it playing into Asimovian themes because this A.I advancement is not human or people friendly. It appears it will used to neuter the human being. It appears it will be used as a tool to make the human a bigger fool. I feel that Asimov wished a more human friendly vision.

Yes indeed. The prompt paradox is the focus for me. For me this is not surprising because this is ultimately a military operation masquerading as a consumer product. I always focus on the root of it all. DOD/NSA all the rest is superfluous. There are many angles to this game but the human to the higher leaders do care about the human. The human is now a 3rd class citizen and is here to feed the A.I and Robots. We just do not realize yet. Thanks for the engagement
