The Rough Draft
Embrace untold truth
I didn’t have anything for this column this week. I kind of turned off my mind during the Thanksgiving holiday. However, an idea or stimulation can just show up unannounced randomly is the beautiful mechanism of humanity that technology and the Digerati wish to stamp out with app culture. Thanksgiving is the holiday to totally tune out mentally! I wasn’t planning anything. The inspiration happened out of the blue! I will say here that we all live in the idea of the rough draft. Here is the official definition:
A first version something such as a document that needs a lot of editing and rewriting.
Rough draft is a flow of ideas.
Life is to be considered a rough draft if you truly look at it from a pure state! We are definitely a #RoughDraft versus a finished product. If we truly looked at ourselves as a #RoughDraft wouldn’t we have much less stress? Wouldn’t it be less worry? Wouldn’t we have less mental issues in our society? As a society we have visions of perfection when that is a false utopian human thought that for some reason is considered legitimate. I am saying aren’t we overestimating our visions which cause our visions to be distorted. This leads us down roads we shouldn’t have gone down!
I have basically always have labeled myself without knowing a #RoughDraft. I know I am always in pursuits of improvement and learning. The theme is that life is one of keep learning! I am always seeking that opportunity to find something that I am clueless about. I seek out the difference!
To sum up life is a rough draft! Stop picking on yourself and even more important do not pick at others. This would diminish criticism, blame, judging and narcissism! These human conditions are what create so many arguments! We have these delusions of vision which disrupt clarity and discernment. All of the unnecessary things that are created by not realizing we are all just a rough draft through out our existence on this planet.
The sad thing about this is that most compare ‘the rough draft’ to a finished product. That can only lead to disappointment and delusion because we compare that finished work to the rough draft. The hard core reality is you are incomplete! Get that in your head. Look in the mirror and say ‘I am incomplete’ so now you can really just relax going forward. Say hey I know I am incomplete and that will be my life so just get over it.
Final thought….. If everyone can accept that all of us are #RoughDrafts this will increase the level of patience around the earth and less unnecessary activities will take place. Isn’t that something to meditate on. If in our decision making we are viewing each other as a completed project we are then viewing the world from a vastly incorrect vision! Hmmm….. Right. This leaves so much to unpack for you doesn’t it. We are not the masterpiece but beginning of one potentially.

P.S - I completed my next manuscript Live Digital the sequel 11/22/23. It is ready to start the publishing process for 2024. My mind is free now from non fiction. Now I can go to the fiction!!! I can now woo - sah!!!
