Respectfully disagree. I read that only 20% of the voters showed up in the United Kingdom to put the Labor Party back in power. I don’t see ignorance and apathy or protesting by doing nothing as virtues in an individual or a society. I think there is usually a choice to be made - and if one cannot vote for the best - hold your nose and vote for the least worse. Personally, I’ll take an arguably obnoxious and flawed pro-America president with a history of generating peace in the world over an unprincipled Parkinsonian bribe-taker whose weakness and fecklessness set the world on fire and who enriched his family by taking money from our enemies and just coincidentally let them advance their interests, irrespective of America’s interests. When there’s any kind of choice to be made, I see voting as a civic duty.

Thanks for the feed forward. That was so great you disagreed. That is what debate and thought is about about. Disagreement means growth! I feel now that system in America is in rigor mortis! The vote has been neutralized by the bureaucracy or what some call the deep state. I still believe in protest and boycotts. You said something .....CIVIC DUTY!!! How many even know what civic duty is now? Where we are now it tells me the system is just on auto pilot. The system is not for the people at all. Just pay your taxes as do as we tell you. Covid was a prime example of this. Covid told me that the Government apparatus was totally captured because it took 'Balls' to do what they did. Something is just plain wrong and just exercising our 'constipational rights' is not enough. We are somewhere else.

Succinctly and intelligently worded. We need to be aware of our consumption of digital junk food.

Thank you for taking the time to mention digital pollution. I feel this needs to me discussed much more in immediate future just like any other addiction or drug

I hate to be a contrarian, but last night's debate was the funniest thing I've seen in years. The moderators did a great job and the two old men had their microphones shut off when they were supposed to shut up. Brandon appeared to be a brain-dead zombie and even the talking heads on CNN said the debate was a disaster for the Dimocraps and that a new candidate must be found.

Interestingly, after having 14 hours to digest and create a fantasy, CNN is now saying that Trump lied for 90 minutes and Joe did a fine job.
