Okay, what a read ! Fantastic outset and lines completely well executed. I couldn’t agree with all of it, but foremost and almost all make sense in all manner of regards. I think it’s too late for a wake up call however? Are we just machines, now wanting to gain on the next chapters or chronicle of life ? Maybe we all need to have “the conversation”; then many more people will feel more settle in. May I say also that you have a Supernal way in which you write. It tells me that when you write something reads back to you and you agreed. Hadhi
Thank you for taking the time to engage! This is so refreshing to hear you say I disagree with some of what you said. That is pre 2000! Thank you for the compliment..... #Supernalway of writing. Wow that is so kind. Thank you for the engaging dialogue.
Great points! I could not agree more that we are the product and that has dramatic consequences for the future of humanity. Having been brought up in a communist country, I would say however that this is not communism. We are beyound communism and capitalism... We have gradually transitioned into a new form of governance system over the last several decades and Covid was the first global demonstration of that. It's a system that has no precedent in the human history because of how technology is used. The most interesting name I've heard is technofeudalism. I am writing a little more about the whole transition here and enshittification of life it brings: https://nataliablagoeva.substack.com/p/technofeudalism-enshittification
Sorry for the delay to this response. many thanks for taking the time to really respond back.. Thank you for correcting me on communism. I have read Marx and looked at Lenin/Stalin/Mao over the years but yes I grew up in New York City where all we were in pursuit was how to be an entrepreneur so we could make enough funds to free ourselves from the wage slave system. I am a capitalist first and foremost. What I do not understand is why is the Democratic party in America and now Republicans pursuing the elements of a failed doctrine? I am product of Austrian school of economics. I agree the Covid thing was a demonstration and a rehearsal which many do not wish to admit or did not see. I am aware of technofuedalism. I have written a book called the New American Dream: Science PHaction to be published in 2025 that scripts it from the American Dream component. For me Technology is the new prison warden of the people. Going to now read your link sent. Cheers. Many thanks
Thank you for your reponse! I have also spent the core of my life as an entrepreneur believing in the foudational principles of what we call democracy and market economy. However, I feel we are beyound that now, and we are experiencing the consequences of a new system. The foundations of this new systems were laid in the process of globalization with the use of technology. As far as the parties in America, I don't think they are pursuing communism-- they are caught into something else and they start to feel and look the same because they are listening to their donors. This new direction is perceived as communism because it goes against the basis of capitalism, and we have been trained to think that in this either-or manner. For me capitalism and communism were like two sides of the same "coin"- they needed each other to exist. Now, we don't have neither communism, nor capitalism anymore anywhere. For the record, China is also not a communist country anymore- it certainly still reminds us of it, but it functions in a completely new way which cannot be called communism according to me. I think this conversation is inspiring me to share some more about communism and what it was and what it was not. It will be interesting to revisit it in view of how it's perceived then and now.
This is great dialogue!!! Opportunity is the basis of what we were taught coming up. The market economy is the only thing I know. I studied the stock and commodity markets since high school and have traded during my life. The parties in USA are not pursuing capitalism. The Democratic party has been fueled by the Marxist since the 60's when all of the hippy and black power movements were penetrated by the marxist or communist party information. The Universities were penetrated and now 60 years later folks do not know there Bill Of Rights. The verbiage has gone from civil rights to social justice. You are right there is no communism or capitalism now for the most part. The technologists sit on top of things. When Twitter decided to block a sitting USA president in Jan 2021 for that was a defining moment. That said to me the office of the presidency had been usurped! I agree on China. Once Nixon and Rockefeller went there in the 70's and when Mao passed away in 1976 Deng changed the game and open the doors to the American corporations that exported so much of our manufacuring base to China ........ Aka globalization.
I hope you share more on the idea of communism! This has been a positive experience for me. Cheers
