Yes. You are absolutely right. They say curiosity killed the cat, but that is a lie: curiosity allowed the cat to discover all sorts of hidden places, and to jump higher into the tree. Curiosity ~fearless questioning of what is real ~ is the true foundation of true physics. Physics is made of questions as much as substance. Physics is everything around us, and our future. But physics is just a broken wheel without input from living consciousness.
I, too, wish I knew more physics. This is an interesting point of view put here. When you say "A physicist’s said that we observe twenty percent of the phenomena", I think of how the arts, while grounded in the material world, give us access to other phenomena, not as observation but as non-material experience. Very interesting; you've opened up some interesting ideas here and now I have to go away and think!
Hey glad that it sparked something in you! Yes all around us our five senses can not pick up other phenomena all around us. We are missing out on so much. knowing this limitation opened up my mind always. It allows me to always recall more is going on than I can catch onto.
You're funny, but spot-on. "wrector!" That's an apt term for what goes on in the brain when we can't comprehend what is being said. I've had many "wrector" moments, and in clear english.
It was funny in real time. The first time he said... the whole class looked at each other.... like huh? Mr. Chu was a character though in his own right. You have had many wrector moments... lol. They stay with you don't they.
Definitely a new phrase to use - a conversation starter maybe? A good friend of mine coined the phrase "The Que Sera, Sera Syndrome" from the song "Whatever will be will be" when it got stuck in his head. He's a classically trained musician, so having this tune stuck in his head for several days was terribly annoying for him. lol I use that term and we know exactly what we're referring to. Now, I can also have "Wrecktor Moments" lol Yep, if we only go back to classes or other experiences and get the most out of them ... I'd probably have a different career about now. :-)
Yeah just all of the reflections we possess over this thing called life! Amazing as I move along in this game. I call life a game for me. G.O.L aka game of life.
I like to ponder & explore the psychophysical aspects of sentience. The bridge between the physical and everything else we experience as sentient beings: the Psyche.
We all have that bridge between the physical and the more intangible realms: emotions, thoughts, instincts & intuitions. We all also have somatic & sensorial qualities that we experience. Such as pains, pleasures, our five senses... and of course dreams & nightmares.
Carl Jung's investigations into what he called the 'Collective Unconscious' are extraordinary, and full of many intriguing concepts & results. One important concept Jung introduced is the 'Archetype'.
He also coined a neologism called the 'Psychoid', which is the concept that, as physical beings (in part) & psychical beings (in part), we are actually experiencing both realms 100% of the time, and at various levels of awareness.
Theories of mind, which bridge the empirical sciences and the more subjective realms (such as philosophical & spiritual pursuits) are quite extensive, and the depth & breadth of these theories are getting more expansive, as well as more detail-oriented. And the pace of these discoveries is accelerating!
The 'correlates of consciousness' in living brains are now empirically known, as well as the beginnings of the potentials of artificial 'neural networks', which are the basis of 'machine learning' as it is called, which is wrapped up within what I've chosen to call 'Simulated Intelligence' (aka AI).
Over many thousands of years we have collectively honed our ability to delve into both the material & psychical realms, through objective as well as subjective means, as a species. Especially in the modern era...
The limitations that any of us experience at any given moment are both objective & subjective, and the envelope is there to be further pushed, as well as further opened!

Always luv your conscious responses to things.

Healthy way to look at it. :-)
